Well it's all risk-reward isn't it? Forest got deducted 4 points last year. If you can spend in the way they did and recruit players that "earn" you more than 4 points then it's probably worth it.
Surely we wouldn’t face any deduction in this year. I’m convinced it’s more actual financials rather than football financials. Which is how I’d want it to be anyway really. We almost lost the club once …

A shame in the sense that this all but confirms KWP is leaving, but he looks to be an excellent replacement. The fact Brighton were interested is a good sign too!

If this means KWP > WHU and Downes > Saints concludes then I'd say we are about half way there with our acquisitions.

This makes KWP's exit totally worth it if we get Downes as well. We won't miss KWP much at all assuming we complete the deal for Sugawara.

KWP is brilliant and a known quantity. It might take Sugawara time to adapt, we just don't know.

Although if this means we get in Downes then I agree, Downes and Sugawara instead of KWP leaves us stronger as a whole.

Stop fear-mongering for f***'s sake. None of us know anything so let's cut the bullsh*t negative speculation.

Maybe we didn't want to match Ipswich's salary, because they regard him as a first teamer starter, whereas we want him 'for the future', or perhaps we have other targets in mind who we would prefer to spend more on.

Or it could be a million other reasons. Maybe he just loves the Suffolk coastline. And Ed Sheeran.

Until the window closes, let's be chill.
It's a transfer thread mate, if we all just waited and chilled there would be no point to post or comment.
