Unless he's going there to pick up some players, I'll be annoyed if he's flying out to Germany to watch Turkey on the weekend.

I hear you loud and clear William but I agree with remote. Not the level of quality that we should now be looking for now. Let's not forget that we've been down the road of buying cheap and cheerful before and look where it got us.
We have to be looking for players that will not only fit in but also improve us and it's a hugely competitive market out there.

Given Riza's bullish statement on youth, Ramsey hopefully going to give us 30 games, one of the misfits to start firing, we're only 3 or 4 off where we want to be.
OK, zero so far.
Hopefully the scouts and Erol are going full chat in the background and we see movement in the next week or two.
I'd hope to see 4 or 5 out the door as well.
3 permies before jetting off to Europe then 2 or 3 loanees which will always be last minute additions.
We just need each of the 3 permies to be a step up on what's already in their position and the loanees to be better than what goes out the door.
Oh, and they all need to fit our playing style.....

.......whatever that is.

If Bulut can drop his insistance that everyone on the pitch must assist with defending regardless of their best skills, I think Robinson could deliver in that 10 spot. He can distribute, he's quick and can also get on the end of things when he's not in the "hole".

Bulut must play players according to their best abilities and not try to impose his dogma on individuals.

Robinson was one of the misfits I was thinking of that I hoped might start firing.
Him and Meite have pedigree at this level. One of them kicking on would be like a new signing.

Unlike Masky, there's an "e" in Sparkey if you don't mind.

Meite owes the club and us big time after a poor misfiring season last year. I reckon he could do it.

Robinson has the skills but apparently according to Bulut, not the application. Personally I quite like the bloke but he needs those around him to be on the same wavelength to produce - that clearly didn't happen last season.
