Just watched a podcast with the clowns Baz & Fletch trying to stir utter nonsense no days off players unhappy etc.
Poor start to the season but spouting utter rubbish isn’t helping.
I have worked in Germany and Germans do take a bit of getting used too they can appear quite cold and robotic till you get to know them, maybe poor Baz is used to Rosie answering every question asked and he thought he had a chair at the table.

Baz is just sulking because he was made to look daft/put back in his box by Tim. He's now just making himself look bitter.... Would he be saying those things and making the post on twitter if the bit in the press conference didn't happen....I think we all know the answer to that.

Not sure what annoys me more his poor journalism or that piss poor effort at growing a beard.

In that case I'm in the minority yet again. I'd also do it when Mrs Two is out so when she gets home the job is completed and all tidied up. :emoticon-0138-think

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Apparently the tidying up is my biggest problem, Mrs red literally cleans up after I’ve cleaned up lol

To me it's created less of a level playing field. A transfer window just enables the best to snapped up in a rush and a battle leaving the scraps for the rest to look for. No transfer window would stop the mad rush that happens and leave a fair amount of talent for everyone. I think what I've said I a fair argument. Think about it. If you can buy, players whenever you want instead of a mad rush less big clubs will feel forced to splash when they can.

Hypothetical situation with no transfer window

Imagine by some miracle this season we end up challenging and doing well and around February time find ourselves 2nd with a recently relegated team (for the sake of this let’s say Leeds) finding themselves 3rd. Amongst our great form they’ve seen a player that they previously touted Mohammed Balloumi is contributing to Hull being 2nd and decide “you know what, let’s bid for him now see if we can test the resolve”.

Bid comes in. Player becomes unsettled suddenly a club he wants to move to are interested in him but we won’t accept to a promotion contender with such few games to go. Suddenly his form dips and Hull slip into the playoffs with Leeds leapfrogging them. Who knows if they had genuine interest or if they just wanted to upset the dressing room. They don’t care they’re promoted now and we’ve still got an unhappy player.

Already crap enough that season long loans on the large part can be terminated January if the player is doing well. With a window however, it allows squads to focus on important things during the season and not worry about losing a player and said players can focus as well

Very good hypothetical. Definitely a way for it to be exploited. You have to think though Belloumi has a long term contract. They'd need to make a good offer to tempt us. Especially since we've signed him just this summer. But, like I say that's an interesting hypothetical which is certainly a good counter argument. Fairplay
