The Birmingham owners have deep pockets and really want to be back in the Championship ASAP, those FFP rules in League 1 are very different to the Championship.

When they come back up though, won’t it be an issue then? Because they aren’t going to be able to shift any big money players for a profit.

I think they are building a double promotion chasing team. It won't matter if they end up in the prem...if they don't, then they are fooked.

Looking back to the ins on page 1.
Assume Kamara is also done.

it’s not enough is it?

If we can get Kamara over the line and the mystery striker then yes it is. Balloumi is a bonus if it happens. But, kamara and the mystery striker would be a good window.

Oscar Zambrano latest
City are understood to remain in talks with the South American authorities about the situation involving Oscar Zambrano and his potential ban following the alleged doping breach. The worst-case scenario is that he would get a two-year ban should he be found guilty. As it stands, nothing has been confirmed in an official capacity.

In quotes attributed to Julio Alvarez, director of Ecuador's Liga de Quito, he's said: "We have not had a statement about it (Óscar Zambrano's 2-year ban for doping). He is now with Hull City and we hope it goes well for him."

A reminder that speaking earlier this month, Acun Ilicali said they backed Zambrano and believed his case and that the club were protected whatever the outcome of the investigation was. Should a ban be forthcoming, it's our understanding the club will stand by the youngster.

Thanks **** we got Oscars wages off the wage bill.
I'd rather do the first half of the season with only 2 recognised strikers than pay that clown any more cash. We're in a better position currently. Still believe there is a striker coming in, one that has not been mentioned that I've seen either.

Reactions: Charon
Add Palmer to the Jamaican heritage at the club. Whitmore and Goodison the obvious ones but the latest squad also includes Di'Shon Bernard, Michael Hector and Palmer.
