So, we've got what, four-and-a-half hours left? City have three deals they're working on this evening. Kamara, Belloumi and a striker. Kamara, we know, is almost done and he's heading to the team hotel in Leeds pending an announcement from both clubs. Prepare for a late one.


No Meffert or a replacement then. Sigh

Meffert is very disappointing. If Walter is here come May I think he’ll be here on a free

City, it's understood, will not be pursuing a deal to sign Meffert from Hamburg. The price Hamburg wanted was believed to be too much and it looks like he'll be staying in Germany.

Uggh. That’s gotta be a contender for worst transfer window ever.

Wilks actually wasn’t a bad signing given what he achieved in our League One season but Maddison has to be a contender for worst signing ever and Scott cost us 7 figures and crocked himself on day 1.

On the plus side he did help the local Takeaway economy survive Covid, so ya know, every cloud and that.

The Meffert one is so disappointing, I wonder what they are regarding as too much and why a similar profile player wasn't looked at as a backup. Unless thats the surprise Baz was talking about but he's gone quiet with that.

We should have moved on from Meffert days ago. Could have had another defensive midfielder in by now...

So we never signed one under Rosenior because he didnt think we needed one.. but then we get a manager who wants one and we still dont get one <doh>
