I think we will get a striker in, but it will probably be underwhelming.

If Meffert doesn’t happen because of leaving it too late with a decent offer then that really is a **** up.

Think Norwich have played a blinder getting £4.5M for Kamara.
Norwich have got £4.5m for Kamara if he is a success with us. They’ve got about £2m guaranteed

I have a good feeling about this one. He was highly rated at Portsmouth, will want to prove himself at Championship level and he’s a pacy winger, which is exactly what we need.

The worry currently is that both our forward signings are no more than punts.

Burstow may have great potential but he didn't set the world on fire at this level with Sunderland. - he's a punt.

Bedia has succeeded in the Swiss Super League but is untried in the Championship - he's a punt.

We really need a proven striker but it is looking increasingly unlikely that we're getting one.

The strategy makes no sense. We released a young average striker and sold an experienced average striker. To only replace them with other average strikers respectively. Really what was the point? So strange

Seems to be only me who thought this, but my biggest concern with Bedia is that he played like Tom Eaves when he came on against Millwall. A lot of people seemed to be quite impressed by his debut but I thought he looked worryingly clumsy in and out of possession.

An overhead kick effort makes a player amazing is what I've been hearing. I counteract that with. Diomande scored an overhead kick...

Only thing is Ernie, what constitutes proven?

Goals at any level or a level similar to the champ… because not sure there are many “proven” available

Seemed fine out of it but his touch was ****ing abysmal. Putting it down to sharpness as he’s barely played, he’ll be a world beater tomorrow.
