This article gives a good insight to the financial situation of European clubs and leagues outside the Big Five leagues.

The Swiss Super League only earned around €20 million per year in TV rights (they have recently signed a new deal though starting this season so it may have increased) and it is divided between 12 teams. Eredivisie earns around €76,500,000 per year divided between 18 teams. Last year, the Premier League earned around £1,632,000,000 from TV rights divided between 20 teams, meaning the value per team was £81,500,000.

For the LigaPro in Ecuador, their deal with GoITV was worth around $31,400,000 per year divided between 16 clubs. The LigaPro has also recently signed a new deal but I couldn’t find how much it is worth.

That was actually another translated quote, he was bemoaning that there are 16 clubs (basically saying there's not enough cash to go around).

He’s got a point. It works out as $1,962,500-a-year per club. It’s not a lot at all in the grand scheme of things.

Think we are seeing the first summer of the football market correcting itself. In windows gone I would have thought we could have got a lot more for Jaden and Greaves. I think in reality it shows money isn't as forthcoming.

So, have we signed anyone else yet?
20 out, just 2 new faces in?
No more pre-season friendlies after tomorrows.
7 days = 5 working days = probably 4 days of training until the season kicks off.
Utter shambolic **** show as it stands .... but yes, there thankfully still is time for it to be turned around.
Keeping the faith, but it's getting harder and harder.

Agreed seeing Summerville go for just £25m when Leeds didn’t need to sell made me feel slightly better about Philogene

If it helps, look at how many of the 20 you are gutted to lose. It’s not a great situation, but it’s not as dire as it first sounds. Also, if you count Oscar and Simons coming back as potentially making a positive impact, we can nearly put a good team together! <party>

Yeah surely if you’re counting loans returning as players leaving you have to count Longman, Oscar and Simons as coming back…

Not transfer related but does anyone know if you sell your membership back to the club for games you can't attend due to sky pissing about with fixtures?
Emailed the club but not had a reply.

Pay your membership I know plenty of people who have one but will go to very few games.
The club is skint needs every penny.
