Poor performances causes people to become disgruntled. It happens at every club we're not an exception. We all know this.
It's just right now we're already rather disgruntled with this "Trust the process" that we don't really know what we're trusting.
We'll unfortunately be even quicker to be disappointed with the team this season if we don't start quickly! That's what I'm gathering with comments on official Hull City posts abd how I feel personally. But, the official comments are eye opening to the feeling around the club. We're pretty low right now.
We agreed multiple million pound fees for both Moore and Asante, we’re hardly basement shopping. In fact the main reason both deals fell through are most likely due to location rather than wages
So, after many pages from today, it seems we have signed no attacking players yet. We have missed out on another striker - but was that the one that will change the dynamic?
We are running out of time, no doubt about it. But a lot can happen in a week. Like I’ve said before, as long as we get a few in before Bristol, we have a fair chance of making a decent start. The rest can come later on in the window.
Ideally, we’ll get a couple in before Reading, to give them a practice run.
I’m honestly not panicking yet though. But something needs to happen soon to ease the nerves and get those good vibes back. I’ve always been a believer that a good home atmosphere can have a big influence on results. The team need that support, but those at the top also need to show the fans that they are serious about going for the playoffs again - and actions speak louder than words. C’mon City, let’s get something sorted soon and get this fanbase excited again. UTT.

We're not privvy to an expected timeline are we? It might be ahead of schedule, who knows and how can we know?
This location excuse is eye opening. What attracted Carvalho, what attracted Seri, what attracted Tufan, what attracted Delap, what attracted Giles?
That's not true. I take my son to Man Utd when it doesn't clash with City. Not once in recent seasons have the supporters turned on the players. They back them for 90 minutes home and away. They have plenty to say online and in the pub but at the stadium they are behind the team 100% good or bad.
If City aren't attacking it general goes quiet. If they go behind the murmering starts and if we get beat there have been boos. Players are slagged off whilst on the pitch.
Our support is awful at times. I wish it wasn't but let's not pretend we are something we ain't. We can do much better getting behind the team and the manager, whoever that may be.
Compare to tomas asante going to cov and it's positively glacial. He's been in hull for days now, had it reported as done (gulp) and yet I'm sure the club won't announce until next week.
It happens with every signing. We're weirdly slow compared to other clubs.
More location for them personally. Moore had a baby on the way with family in Sheffield and Asante already lived local to Coventry.
Seen a few people mention this today, but obviously as Assante has played in the Championship for two seasons to a reasonable return, he cannot be the much lauded 'striker who will change the dynamic of the Championship'.
Unless, we intended to sign him and play him in not in his usual normative attacking role, but as an extra non handling goalkeeper or summat.
Nah, if the money is right the location is not of any consequence. Footballers can live 60 miles away and still make training day in day out. Loads do it.
You could be right, but we don't know and comparing domestic transfer to transfer is difficult enough, but comparing this to an international transfer is even more opaque.
I understand there's likely time needed for his work permit in this specific example, I was using BTA to Cov as a broader example of comparison to our other business. Why is it they've agreed a fee, booked a medical, and look set to sign him all in the space of, what, 48 hours? And how long is it taking us to sort out a transfer for Hughes? Someone suggested we might be 'haggling over pennies' and that was rubbished. If we're not haggling over a small difference in fee, what's taking so long with that one?
I'm sorry all it just seems to me Acun is way more focused on Fenerbache than he is us. Feels like we're another Fortuna Sittard or Shellbourne. He's certainly not trying as much as last year.
I don't know. Only the players/agents/clubs truly know (and people on Twitter).
I know you don't know, and I'm not expecting you to have the answer, it was a rhetorical question. My point being ever since Acun took over transfers have positively dragged for days, or weeks. Sometimes it's been worth it, sometimes it's led to other clubs swooping in and sorting deals out much quicker than us. It just seems very weird. And when we're now in a race against time with the season starting in just over a week, it becomes a real problem.
I should say, when it gets to Deadline Day, we magically seem able to identify a target, contact the club, make a bid, and sign the player all in the space of 24 hours, so we do seem capable of sorting our **** out quite quickly when we need to. Could the club treat tomorrow as a Deadline Day?
Not man u but man city got booed of the pitch at half time, it sparked an outburst from pep. They went on to win by the way. It happens at all clubs.
Man United fans have certainly booed their team off the pitch, I have no idea what Jim is on about but I guess he wasn't there when they got tonked by Brighton or Bournemouth last season.
