Hello, I'm a fan of the Süper Lig from Turkey. I often hear that Acun, your president, transfers many players from Fenerbahçe to Hull City who don't exactly perform well there. As a Turk, this seems quite strange to me. What do you think about it?

Would’ve probably been a good signing if he came fit. Wouldn’t be surprised if we tried again
Amazing lad. Took a real shine to my son at the Pizza/Fifa night and even gave me his number to let him know when we had a game so he could come and watch him play. I rang it but then never saved it and it got lost in my call log. Really hope he gets over the injuries as Arsenal seem to rate him very highly. As with Simmons and Delap these young lads from top end academies need a lot of time to develop. One bad knock or loan move can set them back years.

It’s just an easy link to make, all the players that have come should’ve realistically been very good for the level.

Tufan did well, Pelkas never stayed for long enough to get form, Allahyar had potential but got a terrible injury when he was playing well

In three years, we've signed Ozan Tufan, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and Dimiltri Pelkas (on loan), that's not 'many' players.

We've sort of tried with the likes of TLT, Simons and Furlong but we've never given them a route to the 1st team so that they can actually develop.

Posh produce again and again as they're one of the few that can spend in L1/L2 and they look at signing young players and persevere with them. Everyone just wants instant success.
In the defence of Rosenior it was clear Xav Simons needed some time to adjust to mens football. He was, and still is, highly rated by Chelsea staff but he looked a little behind the pace in his early games. The loan to fleetwood looks to have matured him and I like what I am seeing now. TLT is a weird one as he was well thought of by Donny and I expected him to be our number 2 this year behind the Panda. Talk of another keeper might seem him shipped out again, perhaps to a division higher.

Furlong looks way off, surely he is going out for a year to League 2.

Have You heard Rod Stewart's version / view to Your question ⁉️

Thanks for all the information. It's nice to hear the other side of things. It seems there isn't as much negative sentiment among Hull fans regarding Acun as the Turkish media suggests. Here, rivals talk about him moving players back and forth to financially benefit Fenerbahçe. I even read yesterday (beware, it's a rumor) that he plans to transfer three Fenerbahçe players to Hull for 25 million (Kent, Cengiz, Zajc). The rivals went crazy over this news :D

I think that was a fake rumour a month ago.

Our previous owners before Acun were terrible, so Acun is a vast improvement on them. Yes, he brought in some players early on that didn't work out, but nobody is perfect. He has been very good for us so far.
