Well, tbf, I doubt that Sharp was a player that Rosenior was so intent on bringing in. I might be wrong on that, but I doubt it. More like an option that became available that he agreed on.

I think sharp mentioned he spoke to the club in summer. Just pointing out its easy to think we could have done better than Connolly but it just as easily could have been much worse.
I’ve been one to complain. I’m still going to rock up to the games like most who are complaining. Think most on here are probably the same.
Fact is. This ownership group does make mistakes. They’ve said so themselves. This is one of them letting the squad get as it is and put things at risk. The squad will likely be better come August 31st. How much better TWT
Can’t make people sell you players when you want unless you pay over the odds , or you buy rubbish - we’ve done that before . Maybe a bit of patience and you get quality - we’ll see .
But we only had 2 in this time last season....and a load of gash we have managed to ship out and amazingly in some instances, get money for...
Drinking snakebite was my first experience of ''fresh air then out of the game'' - was in Trogg Bar early 70s, stood at the bar with one of the guys from the band when he ordered one, I got chatting to him and asked what it was like, he said really good and I should try one; was great to drink and I tried several, but, once I hit the fresh air I was totally trolleyed. My mates carried me home, was sick for 2 days and never touched it since. I was always a light- weight!
So, did I but have heard of people referring to Guinness and cider like that. To me, and the rest of our lot, it was always black and tan. Had a couple of experiences after drinking both of them.
