Not really. He was deemed to fragile to keep on despite his goal return. You do know Not having a settled 11 is disruptive at times.
He is one of our better players, but I do agree ok expecting more. I don't know how he was used at Fulham, but always felt he would be more useful further forward.

Last summer we didn’t have a Euros. the summer before we didn’t have a World cup. That’s the difference.
But none of the players we're trying to sign were at the euros. We've signed less players than other clubs. It's a weak excuse.

Rightly or wrongly we’re going to relay on prem loans more than any other championship team. Those loan players are currently on pre season tours with their parent club in place of the players who did actually play in the euros. If prem clubs loaned them out now they’d be playing pre season games with about 13 senior players and no club is daft enough to do that!
Yeah you right but I wish we’d build a decent team of our own then add a few loans for quality. feels like we’ll be on this hamster wheel every season
