Two things immediately sprang to mind after that interview:
1) Why hasn't Acun come out and explained anything?
2) Why book high profile friendlies against top opposition in Fenerbahce, Newcastle and Fiorentina only to have Ryan Longman play up front and a load of kids running about?
If the way we are conducting this transfer window was indeed planned, then why didn't we just play the likes of Scunthorpe, Boston and Cleethorpes? What difference has it made in terms of planning and tuning the system?
A very well put post. It becomes stranger week by week. Burnsy said just about a month ago 'there must be a plan, they knew all these players were leaving' but it seems like the plan left when Rosenior did. Ever since that sacking, the club has felt like it's running in a very different manner to how it had the previous 18 months.
