Appreciate any and all insights, but when they have such a low hit rate it doesn't seem any more valuable that any other rumour.
I could say that Millar is signing tomorrow and it feels just as likely as howden saying two were signing today, or M88 saying Greaves was going to a London club, or Newcastle saying bree was the RB. As someone said, these are decent posters, I think it's wherever they get the info that's having them on.
I can't recall the last name/signing genuinely broken on here that wasn't just someone saying "ah yeah that story that's already broken is one I knew about". Which is fine but hardly practical.

Yeah I always add I never know if my source is having me on. Mine realistically should know so I post it anyway but he’s had my life a few times but willing to take the risk as when he owes me money like he does now he tends to move away from taking the piss.
He told me about Walter before he was rumoured and also Vinagre before he got signed last season so his source is decent but he is a very unserious guy so it hardly surprises me when it doesn’t come off

Didn't Slater's Dad tell a few people he was off when there was that whole thing a couple of seasons back? That he was being mucked about or something?
To be fair an agent told me he expected a certain player to be announced today. Maybe it fell through, maybe the club are saving it for gameday tomorrow or maybe they have run into issues. Either way I think it is a bit harsh to be having a pop at Mr Toast. I've never seen him write in a bragging way that he knows something others dont. He generally shares info that is followed by 'I've been told' which is fair enough. Nobody in their right mind would hang their hat on his every word.
I was told Cooper was a done deal, I put a fair chunk of cash on him being the next manager and then spoke to the person who is very closely linked to Cooper to be told he turned us down as he is watching the Premier League clubs merry go round and hoping for one of them. I knew excatly how he would have got that info from Cooper himself so know it was nailed on at the time but things change.
Other than Big Vern nobody can have concrete info re-signings simply because the process itself can change with one phone call, one failed medical, one other club gazumping us. Vern obviously has their kid in the inner circle so his info is a little more current and accurate.
Just watching the Liverpool pre season game, it's odd to see Carvalho playing wide, as it nullifies his goalscoring but he's not a creative no.10 so it's understandable. But he's not really been involved since I've started watching.
Nyoni has just come on and he looks fantastic, he's only 17 so it's interesting to see how his development goes. A potential loanee down the road
EDIT: Morton had a very good half, he looks a lot better playing alongside more technical players.
Re potential loans for us, Doak has been lively but he's very young & possibly Bajcetic, he'll need games after missing all last season. The rest just look too raw, but there are a fair few that would be good loans in a year or two. The lad McConnell we've been linked with has missed out through injury.

When he joined us and people said he couldn't play wide I found it surprising as he'd played there quite a bit for Liverpool. Regardless of whether it's his most effective position he certainly has experience there.
Well this post is totally flawed.... It's 2 signings and don't have the same stupid arguement regarding Giles (he wasn't our player/ registered with us last year and he is now) and it's a transfer thread not an incomings thread.
Most people appreciate the information you give us, but I can fully understand why you'd want to give up sharing, as the few who think it's an English Literacy exam want to discet every word you write and then try to interpret into anything other than what has been said, or try and call you out if it doesn't come off or it's not done within 5 minutes of you posting it!!
The Tan post is interesting. Surely his cryptic message is about a player and it must be 99% done for him to post anything. He is fully aware of the fans clamour for signings and he doesn’t strike me as someone who would be blind to whats been said on social media.
I think Acun and Tan are just guessing at this point too!
