I can’t believe he keeps finding clubs

I can't get my head around him. No one ever seems to remember this but when he signed for us he'd just got the most combined goals/assists in the Turkish Super Lig for the half-season immediately prior. For him to show absolutely nothing for us, and to end up totally unwanted by two different managers including the one that signed him, is quite bizarre. If he'd been permanently injured it'd make more sense but he was generally fit.

The more I hear about this Hughes situation the more I think we won't get him. Sounds like a great signing if we could pull it off, but all this stuff about how valuable he is to Wigan, other clubs being alerted, just makes me think he'll end up going elsewhere.

Sometimes it's really just as simple as a player just doesn't fit or settle at a club.

I agree but I do just think that Wigan post is copium. No club would use Nixon to ramp up a bidding war.

Good to see Jason Lokilo has found a new club, personally it is good to see the club clearing the desks so to speak of players that are not good enough for a regular first team slot. I think the club has learnt a lesson that signing fringe players is a waste of time, and quality over quantity is the best way forward.
Agree .,but ...and it's a big but.....that's now 19 out, of which only 3 were not really in or around the 1st team last season....with only 1 new face in (don't let anyone convince you it's more, it really isn't).
2 weeks away from k.o. with a new coaching team and new system;. Repeated whispers of signings but nothing bar Drameh materialises. This is not normal. Absolutely no wonder some are getting increasingly concerned.

Giles is a new signing he was only a loan last season.

If the club is being run on the basis of employ, develop and sell, then I feel they should be going all out for this lad Hughes... if he was £4 million including add ons, the very little ive seen shows that theres a proper player in there that could bring rich rewards...
