I think the fervour has been stoked by the fact that it doesn’t feel like we are much further than ‘in talks’ with players.

To get to the day of announcement of possibly 2 players and we are all (most of us) in the dark is amazing in this day and age.

The thing with Millar is that a few clubs are in and we’re leading the chase…doesn’t sound close to being done. Hughes deal was said to be moving in the right direction - but doesn’t seem imminent.

Toast says 1 is a striker and I can do not think of a few vague links but no talk of bids/negotiations. No idea who the other one could even be??

Apart from obviously Moore, the only other striker I can think we've even been linked with is the young lad from Wolves.
