I agree with all of this btw. I like Yokuşlu as a player but he’s 30 now and some West Brom fans have said that his legs are starting to go a bit. I know 30 isn’t old but I do think we could get a more athletic defensive midfielder who is younger and would cost the same if not less and would have more re-sale value.

That’s why I bang on about players like Cheick Condé and other players in minor European leagues. They’re stand-outs in their respective divisions and they would cost €3-4 million but there is potential for them to triple in value if they take well to the Championship. I think Condé also fits the mould of what Walter has said he wants in his midfielders as he’s exceptional defensively but also good at carrying the ball out with powerful runs.
Would Conde get a work permit? I know he’s a full international but it’s more difficult when you don’t play for an established nation.

Yokuslu is fairly low risk, he’s a high performer and a profile we are missing. Most WBA fans I’ve read are saying they absolutely shouldn’t sell him to us

Didn't realise McBurnie is only 28!
A proper, proven striker, and one with a bit of 'nous' about him.
Tbf, not a bad signing if it happens.
I guess we'll have to overlook him being born in Leeds, playing for Sheff Utd and Scotland!

Baz already said it's not McBurnie

Think he’d qualify for an Elite Significant Contribution spot.

He’d instantly improve us don’t give a monkeys if he’s 30
