If you'd actually read the article before commenting you'd know where the words "golden opportunity" came from and it's certainly not from me.
And there's plenty on here from me criticising the churn of players every window under the current ownership.
Stop trying to spin a neutral position as something it's not. Are you really that desperate for an echo chamber?

Hearing today Manure are trying to grind Everton down from the £70 million they have been quoted for Branthwaite... Jesus I hope City hold out for at a minimum £20/25 million for JG...
So they're probably selling Clarke. They have a higher ffp threshold than us. Rosey has joined a succession of managers turning them down and their fans are livid.
Jobe is their great white hope.
He's not going anywhere for anything like we'd be willing to pay.
And quite right too. He's proven nothing yet.
He may well be in a few years.
We're not coughing up what Sunderland would sell him for though, so it's a non starter.

I just find it ridiculous Reach plc continue with this abomination of a website layout in 2024. There were websites in 2004 that were more user-friendly.
Try to scroll down, the page crashes and refreshes. A billion ****ing ads clutter up the actual text. It’s just dreadful.
I have ad blocker otherwise I wouldn't use it.

True but an understatement! Quite a few names can come off that thread bare list of senior players too.
As another article (by Baz I think) said, the flip side is that it presents an opportunity too, to recruit players that fit the new system.
But, it is surely a daunting, mammoth task ahead.
I'm ok with the appointment of Walter, but hugely concerned about the "transfer task laid bare"
