There's little to no money in the Eredivise outside of the teams that get into Europe, I can't imagine many are doing very well.

The asking prices quoted for those three that I’ve seen seem really low. €3 million for Guth, €1.5 million for Halilović and €1 million for Rosier, apparently.

€3 million for Guth seems really good value for money for a young centre-back with potential who is contracted until 2027 at his current club. Likewise, €1 million for Rosier would be insanely good business for a solid defensive midfielder who I think would take well to the Championship. It seems outside of Ajax, Feyenoord, Twente, PSV and Alkmaar, the budgets of other Eredivisie clubs is like League One level.

Guthrie broke ***ans leg
Wouldnt fancy him here

Must be a development signing because there doesn't seem to be any evidence of him actually playing a competitive game.

It seems he was born in Luxembourg, but based on his name and the fact he’s got dual nationality and played U17 and U19 for Portugal, presumably at least some of his family are Portuguese.

Danish reserve league

DANISH....reserve league

My socks have never been glued on more tightly

He seems to enjoy the rumour tho, resposted it himself

He’s following a few of the youth players already. Wonder if he’s been on trial at the clun

It’s quite similar to Scotland in terms of quality. It’s not that there are no good players, but they just don’t have a strong league outside of the ones mentioned. Even Twente are nowhere near what they were under Schteve McLaren. Though that being said I think they had a big change around and spent some time in the second tier before recovering. The second tier seems to have B teams in it as well, so guessing the quality down there isn't brilliant and it must have been humbling for them. Gronigen just spent a season in there as well, Dutch football really is strange.

Honestly, I wasn’t impressed by him in his time here and definitely not for £4.25 million or whatever the buy-option fee was. Walter may have vetoed it. To be honest, he didn’t suit Rosenior’s football and I don’t think he’d suit Walter’s either. He’s an overlapping full-back who plays almost as a left-winger and defensively he’s not very good. Walter seems to want a full-back on either side that is a bit more dynamic with all the crazy rotations he has his back-four doing with centre-backs stepping into midfield and full-backs either playing as centre-halves in some phases or inverting into midfield themselves.
