He isn't happy how the club/Rosenior handled his situation this year. Birmingham made an offer for him last summer and he had a good chance at first team football but the Rosie wouldn't let him go. In January, Blackburn had an offer accepted for him with Rosie's blessing, he agreed terms, packed his bags and at the very last minute, Rosie pulled the plug because he felt he was a bit short on midfielders. I think when you get that far into a move pretty much guaranteeing first team football and a longer contract and it gets taken from you, you would feel annoyed, especially when you don't even play for the club you're at.

I think from his point of view that's fair enough but from City's point of view why on earth would we let an under contract player leave when we're desperately short in his position? This is around the time he played a big role in that win at Sunderland. The club would've been crucified if they let him leave then.

Wonder if Acun will use his ties with Fortuna Sittard again this summer. There’s one player in particular who I rate called Loreintz Rosier. @HFFP will back me up as he was a decent player when he was at Estoril. Seems like the kind of midfielder we lack and one Walter would have at the base of his midfield.

Has anyone thought Doc might have been away on holiday and therefore it was done via a teams call or phone call? Yes he may not of liked it to happen that way. But if the lads gone away on holiday and isn't available to do it face to face, then how else should it have been done when a deadline needed to be met?

As someone else has said it can be read lots of different ways but what doesn't surprise me is that as per the usual "jump to the worst possible explanation" is the default by some.
As you will know mate it is fairly normal for this to happen in this way. He and his agent would have known for weeks, if not months, he is not getting a new deal and that is how it is done. The list is produced and made public long after agents and players are made aware they aint staying. If Acun or Tan do not want to ring each player personally to wish them well that is their call. The manager should be the one doing that in my opinion but we dont have one. When releasing academy players I would always do it face to face where possible and one of them at Featherstone went outside crying only for his dad to return trying to fill me in. Maybe they heard old man Docherty was a bit of a wild one?

Can never be too careful with Glaswegians. Whoever made the call wouldn't have wanted a "kiss"

His god father buried my Dad in Cyprus (big City fan) earlier this year. He told me how much Greg loved it here and if I wanted anything he would put me in touch with him. Seems a real shame but he is probably better off going to another club and playing week in week out. You only get one career as a footballer and wastign it as a squadie somewhere will lead to regrets I'm sure. Although Scott Carson seems happy enough!

Exactly, but that doesn't work for the people who want to paint the club in a bad light
