Listening to him on Talksport he gave Liam 4 attacking players in January who then either did t play enough or the tactics didn’t enable them to do what they were good at - in Acun’s opinion . Half right and half wrong for me , as this division is not straightforward .

Well unlike football manager
Real football is not a spreadsheet

Agreed but based on the data constantly quoted on here it obviously is to some .

Carvalho had his best goalscoring period in his career under rosie

As did philo
And delap (despite both being injured)
And tufan
And connolly

So its not like rosie stifled attackers at all

We had to find the balance and we started to find it more and more
Just to throw it all away

Had we have scraped into the playoffs, we'd have started them as the form team. Obviously, there's still a lot to do from there, but you'd still fancy us, particularly as we tended to play better against better teams (fans of the other playoff teams certainly didn't fancy playing us).

Fans of other teams are as bewildered as we are at his sacking. I've already seen a Leicester fan say they'd take him if Moresca left, TWS fans say they'd take him if Farke doesn't get them up and a Cardiff fan wanting him for their next manager. He won't be out of work for long.

We were technically better I believe than most teams but within a pretty rigid framework . We keep the ball well due to the competence of skilled players .
Biggest issues maybe so few set piece threats or goals I think ?
Shots on target at home especially .
We did really well with a team of small players and lightweight ones .

Hopefully this means come the first game of the season Pandur is in goal anyway, really don't want to see Allsopp being our first choice keeper again. Good couple of passes on him but sick of seeing him being beaten too easily especially at the front post. Wherever Rosie ends up hopefully he takes his lovechild with him.

I thought most of us expected that even under LR?

Fans of other teams don't see us week in week out though do they, it's easy to say "id take LR" after they see us turn them over ( or in Leeds case out play then but still lose ) But do you honestly believe any of them would say the same after a full seasons worth of homes games the same as we've had to endure

I wish I could endure a season finishing top half every year.
As I've mentioned before, when i have a near 8 hour round trip to watch mind numbingly boring football after a week of work isn't fun, its different for you sticking a tv on in your house for a couple hours. People who make this effort to go to games would like to occasionally be entertained.

I was regularly up between the hours of 2am-4am. If you want to talk about 'mind numbing' football, I think someone watching in the dead of the night might have a reasonable sense of what sort of football puts you to sleep.

If it was so traumatic for you you should have binned in the 8 hour round trip and gone to away games instead.

No because i want to support my team in person and pay for the home games which supports the club, that's what being a supporter is, I went to many away games as well.

Well done on getting out of bed for a couple hours then straight back in.

Mind numbing watching on the tv is completely different to going in person.

Oh I see we're back to the 'You're not a real supporter if you don't go to the games in person' angle. Ok.

This won't be popular because people are utterly convinced that Pandur must be our best keeper, but if the keeper situation played out as Baz Cooper said last night it did then it's a right mess.

Can't be signing players your manager doesn't want and then moaning when he doesn't use them. It's always managers who take the stick and lose their jobs, and it's also always them who put on a brave face and tell the fans how good everything is behind the scenes, when in reality they're dealing with unqualified people above them picking at what they do. I think this is a really **** thing about modern football.

Take that however you want but all I'm saying is fans in the ground want to be entertained, especially those who travel a long way for it. You can enjoy watching us pass it around our own box as much as you like in bed but its different.

It's a totally unsustainable expectation. We're never going to appoint a manager who guarantees that we don't sometimes have disappointing home games. Our home form has been ****e for about 5 years now. It's a complete myth that it's just been a Rosenior thing.
