Probably, it's actually more like a cup competition. There's twelve teams who play each other once, then the top eight teams play quarters, semis and a final, Gremino won it.

As always, I don't think a striker's goal record is the be all and end all. Delap for example was a reasonable goalscorer but a brilliant striker.

I know very little about Pedro. He probably won't be fit straight away, and there'll be a reason he's a free agent, but we do need a striker and maybe he's worth a gamble.

Yep. Don't know what the solution is when they keep getting turned down though. We try to be ambitious and sign top end players at this level but we're probably not seen as a big name and so that level of players turns us down. We need to look at why we don't have the pull.

IMO we could have signed 5 CF's... the way it is currently and until things improve the goal tally wouldn't be much higher.... lets hope tomorrow it clicks...

Using the wrong chat up lines. It’s all about first impressions. If Acun asked a prospective new striker if he’s got the time at the outset I doubt we’d have much of a problem.
