I saw a chart the other day, said that Birmingham had spent £13m (and have bought Dykes since then). The rest of League 1 combined had spent just under £5.5m

Whilst there’s no FPP in league one, if they’re promoted the losses from this year are taken into account for their rolling 3 year period. I think they’ll be in real trouble in a couple years

I get that they want to bounce straight back, but why are they throwing that much money at it if that would put them in **** creek irregardless? Am I being dense? I know they'll get more money for being in the Championship than League 1, but it's not near enough to claw back close to a possible £25m in transfer fees

FFP isn't as strict in League 1 so thats the time to spend now.

We just have way too many players in that middle area now
