I get that they want to bounce straight back, but why are they throwing that much money at it if that would put them in **** creek irregardless? Am I being dense? I know they'll get more money for being in the Championship than League 1, but it's not near enough to claw back close to a possible £25m in transfer fees

It seems Fulham have turned down a £10m offer from Birmingham for Stansfield.

 

Do like this as a signing, a bit more of a presence in that midfield - good experience, good age.
