Yeh I would have preferred Stansfield to Cannon and hoped we would be the ones that tested Fulham with a bid today.

I saw a chart the other day, said that Birmingham had spent £13m (and have bought Dykes since then). The rest of League 1 combined had spent just under £5.5m

We also really should push the boat out for Meffert because if Zambrano is banned, we’re relying on Simons until January which is probably not enough.

Meanwhile we’re fart-arsing about trying to sign another attacking midfielder and keeper. Priorities seem bizarre right at the end of the window.

Every year under Acun's ownership we've been short on wingers. I just don't get it and while I like Palmer, we just don't need him. Your sweet shop analogy is bang on

Yeah.I’m shocked at that. From (a fading) memory, I thought Greaves and Jones were almost ever present! Can’t recall us playing three at the back either.
Won’t Burns be ahead of him in the pecking order post international break?
 
I think the best rationale is to try and remain calm between now and 11pm.
In Barry Cooper we have a sports correspondent who is held in high regard by the club. I am sure he us working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep us updated so in him I put my trust.
