Regardless of whether or not it's for the best, I do quite like the idea that someone from Hull has lost out on a contract he wanted because of his decision to loudly be a Hull White meff in the past. That's the kind of justice we don't see often enough.

In all seriousness, him saying he was a City fan and then saying he was a Leeds fan since childhood is low down on my list of reasons why I thought it was a **** transfer.
