I've seen a lot of neutrals praise our capture of Puerta and Zambrano and claiming they'll be watching us this season. Do we actually expect them to start many games together? If we get Meffert I think he'll be first choice, with the two South Americans battling to start alongside him. With Omur vs Mehlem for the more attacking midfield role
Just a thought, if we got to January in a similar position as we were last season and Acun decided he wanted to bring in another couple of loanees to give us the extra push, presumably he could look to convert the two South Americans to full signings early, assuming there was headroom?

Don’t see why not but I think if we get to Jan in a similar position with this team of players why would you add to it, let them finish the job unless we have a lot of injury’s.

Why do I feel we are all going to be a bit underwhelmed with the new striker after all this build up.
I am not worried who the striker is if we get one I think Beida and Burstow will do ok we have enough players who can score so not worried if it is a L1 player he will get chances to score.
I will be happy if we get Kamara and Mefford not bothered after that.
The fact they have him listed as a defender says it all.
Depends if we want to finance FFP of Fenerbahce. In the end we paid huge amount to Allahyar, someone who literally had no buyer in the market. Fenerbahce was even considering paying his salaries and terminate just to satisfy foreigner limit.
Anyone dare to have a crack at a best XI as things stand? Think RW is the glaring weakness now.

I feel like I say it every window but I do find it funny that we can make 15+ transfers each summer and still we have half/majority of our back four left over from our League One days. Coyle just won't be moved!

Could shift him to CAM and have Mehlem out wide and the point would remain, so it's not necessarily a slight on Omur.
