Just read the Acun article, seems convinced we'll get meffert. I'm hoping the surprise of who the GK is doesn't mean he's the big name signing, maybe bayandir at united?

Also confused as he says we'll get 3 more in on loan, that seems like a fairly large amount with some regularly missing out on the squad.

He is counting Puerta as one of those I believe so that is 6 in total

Puerta will probably take ahwile to get up to speed
Similar to zambrano
You can see he has that rare ability with his first touch and passing technique
But he will probably take ahwile to fully get to speed with this league
New country etc
And i always think we sometimes underestimate the level the championship is

But its a good thing that we can potentially sign them
I like the longer term thinking

I tend to agree with you, it’s why I am pleased the obligation is only triggered after a certain number of games as well. It means we can be sure he’s a good fit before committing. Is this the first time we’ve had such a clause at least under Acun?

Yeah in two of the three games he's been fine, made a cracking save at one stage against Millwall - might have been the near post header? Just don't think we need to be rushing out and spending more money. In January if neither he nor Racioppi looks any good then fine but not just yet. How would Racioppi be feeling in all this too?

Smacks of another mad Acun panic situation to me. Needs to just chill and focus on what we really need not bring in umpteen keepers because he's decided he doesn't like the two he's, or the "brain team" have, already brought in

Yeah it just feels like if it’s another one of #1 quality it’ll just unsettle players who are here.

Pandur I have to say is probably on for POTM with Coyle

I thought pandur was abysmal in pre season
But hes looked good this season

He looks so calm and confident
How many times did he catch the ball from their corners etc

Maybe some question marks about his passing
But not sure how much of that is on players infront too
