I've just been speaking to a mate who works for a physiotherapy company in Hull. He used to work with Cooper every preseason and has said he has very little cartridge left in both knees and travels to Switzerland every summer to have horse placenta injected into his knees just to be able to get through a season but would never manage 90 minutes week in and week out.

I only popped in to read the thoughts of Cooper returning, I thought it might go down well.

We offered him a 1 yr contract,- apparently at a much reduced wage, apart from wanting two years he thought it was an insult as he’d be on less money than most others.

Quite surprised anyone at this level would risk two years on him

Re Cooper, lets hope Tan and Acun dashed to this forum immediately after the match and based on everyones comments and pull the plug on the deal. If not we will have a hatful of center halves. Given all the comments it seems a wrong decision to either sell Macca or bench him for he season to accomodate Cooper.
