Right footed, plays left wing, has a 10% goals to games ratio. So my best guess, having never seen him, is yes, he's a cutter inner.
It's a distinction without a difference Chazz. If he's not in the right places to receive the ball in the box more than that then that's even worse.
I don't know. What I do know though, is that we need a striker otherwise our surfeit of wingers will have no one to pass to.
Who says he isn’t? You? Walter wants the striker feeding We aren’t doing that Let’s see how the next centre forward gets on but with this service it’ll be the same
Well if he's not getting the ball he's not contributing. Burstow pressed much more effectively and got involved much more.
I am really struggling with this not in the right place, if he's in the box why don't the other players pass him the ball where he is? Do they pass the ball to where they think he should be wether he's there or not? Football is not a game of chess, I never understood all the tactical and planing stuff as the other team have 11 players who don't know your plan and will as likely as not won't do what you expect them to do. Unlike in chess your opponent has to do one of a number of things, all of which are known.
Interesting question. Is this the first time Walt's had a choice of who to start up top in a competitive match? If he doesn't stick with Oscar it would look like a clear sign he doesn't fancy him. I'd guess he starts though. Tim doesn't seem shy about switching up things mid-game which I like.
Oscar has to start on Saturday. It's too much of a burden on Burstow. Continue with the 30 minute cameos until he earns his start. Hopefully in the meantime it clicks for Oscar.
Had a look through the motm thread and the match thread And no mention whatsoever of tsf doing well Bullied was the only comments And no votes in the motm thread
Not denying he had his flaws. Just pointing out that overall the team looked a bit better with a forward offering more than just being a poacher
