Could well be. Broja was the opposite. Regularly tried to shoot when there was a better option available.

There is that but he still needs to develop that coolness when presented with, what we consider, a tap in. The presence of mind to anticipate what the keeper is going to do and place the ball in the net instead of just hitting it.

Just for the record I've always loved Shane and feel he is a Saints legend. I've always said we never bought him to be a main goalscorer as he had never been that prolific for any of the clubs he has played for we bought him for his never say die attitude and harassing defenders etc.

I know, I don’t feel sorry for Shane. He had a good career, capped many times and made a lot of money.

I think there will be times when we wish we still had him, but we were right to let him go.

When was the last time Che scored with his left foot, or had a shot with his left foot? Can you be a successful premier striker when you don't use one foot. Every decent defender will show him his weaker foot..

We desperately need a clever striker who can read the game and score, oh and add Connor Coady to that. He's exactly the leader at the back we need.

AA needs to be loaned out IMO and yes we need not only to buy a striker but also play Che…….baffled today.
