rumour is bournemouth have bid 14mill. at that price there should be clubs all over him. i have watched a fair bit on the kid and am convinced he’s the real deal.

I think the links of southampton showing interest was a discussion of his impressive numbers on Saintsweb yesterday where everyone was getting excited and saying we should go for him

14 would be cheap as he signed a new contract less than a year ago. his numbers look good but when you watch him in play you can see the quality and the intelligence. he would be a massive upgrade for us IMO. i could see him at champions league club before long.
I think the 14m number is quite close to the transfermarkt number - rather than what he actually might go for

Assuming the Mara story is correct I think we are about there transfer wise. We have a new spine to the team - keeper, CB, CDM, AM, ST. Maybe a RB loan to cover for Tino.

I think most would still like to see another striker, AM and right back cover. There are still two loan slots as well and I expect that market might move a bit later
Perhaps one player who can do both AM and Striker.
There was definite talk of substantial funds being available for the attacking roles. 15m rising to 20-21 for Mara and Aribo doesn’t strike me as meeting that definition. And I think most would be a bit disquieted if this is the end of our attacking signings. Even the more positive minded people
