Yeah we all thought we had a player on our hands then. Especially the Sheff Utd goal. Where did that guy go?

It's crazy how many players start so well in the first few games and then fade into oblivion. Wonder why it is.

I tried a quick search and transfermarkt doesn’t list him as representing that many significant players. Unless it is out of date

The only three of any note are Redmond, Skipp and Marcus Edwards (ex Spurs now playing for sporting)

Perhaps we are looking at the latter but he only moved a year ago. Might not have settled. Probably fits the profile of players from the England youth teams

I doubt Spurs are selling Skipp unless they have a big money buy in that position lined up and even then I think Conte likes him. If he was for sale I’d want him. And if Spurs are truly serious about JWP then they should be forgetting this nonsense about Winks and offering Skipp as part of the deal otherwise we just laugh them out of the room.
 
He has said it is nothing serious and in reply to some asking "contract extension?" he said "kind of".

Could just be bullshit or a crap joke. Time will tell - maybe McCarthy getting announced about 6 months after he signed <laugh>

We’ve all wanted him to succeed, including me, but despite long periods of support from managers and supporters alike, he’s never really converted this into anything medium term let alone long term.

I see him similar to Forster in the sense of over the course of his contract(s) over the years-how well has he actually played well for… as in proper, match winning performances.

He strikes me as indicative of the situation we find ourselves in as a club, too nice to be brutally honest about how good, bad or indifferent some of our footballers are. For me, I’d rather try someone with genuine potential to make a difference rather than someone’s who’s level I see as the Championship.

Buts as mentioned… I know others will see it differently and I respect that.
