This is a rumours thread. I'm also surprised Redmond may be off.You must log in or register to see media
No one will want Walcott and assumed Djenepo would be off as be never plays. Bit surprised about Redmond though as Ralph seems to like him.
We are already looking at bringing in at least 1, maybe 2, number 10.
According to most sites he is one of our top earners. He is also in a position where we really need to improve. We don’t get enough goal contributions from those positions. He is also currently not starting and has one year left on his deal this summer. Players don’t tend to take pay cuts so the position of listening to offers is reasonableYou must log in or register to see media

Honestly, this does seem sensible. None would be greatly missed and they are taking up space in the first team squad that could be filled by younger talent, or with more experienced players (reference to recent reports), not necessarily attacking midfielders. Redmond and Walcott are on, l understand, quite high wages. You must log in or register to see media

We’ve already got Theo, Shane ….So will we be buying Peter Osgood and Alan Ball then?
Not sure how you can say this?We can’t get rid of Walcott, his influence on the younger players is invaluable.
(is this getting boring now? Personally I think, No!).

I can’t hide my disappointment with how crap Theo has been since his bright start
Perhaps I should have put that in blue. Not sure how you can say this?
It might be true
Personally I’d rather have players in the squad that were actually good enough to play

I thought you were jestingPerhaps I should have put that in blue.
It’s a running joke that some people think we sign crap older players on massive wages for their positive effect on youngsters.
I completely agree, never expected Theo to work out.
l think many thought the same, and l, like many others hoped that he would, at least for one season, have something of a fine 'Swansong' but it's turned into more of a 'Dodosong'.I completely agree, never expected Theo to work out.
Ah yes, blue would have helpedPerhaps I should have put that in blue.

I’m sure they do. Anything to deflect from the fact that they have signed a player on 70k a week who hasn’t even featured.it’s more than some people think, the club, management and players trot it out regularly enough.
