Fair. Most of the time it is something that has been said or suggested on here as well - just more often and more vocally on other sites. No one has brought up Carrillo on here. If true I wonder what all the talk about the loan of Bade was all about ? Other interest in him instead? Surely a permanent for DCC would be a similar fee to the rumoured buy option. So if it is actually needing to free up a loan slot then why not buy him? Seems odd that it seemed to be announced as agreed. Unless we get both which really doesn’t seem likely

Think Caleta-Car is in the last year of his deal so could be cheap. I remember a few years ago he was all the statto football geeks wet dream player. Haven’t heard much of him since so not sure if his form has dropped off
Latest I have seen is Bade has apparently picked Forest over us which is difficult to really understand. I guess with them playing a back three he is more likely to get game time than here
Shame as he seemed tall, quick and strong which fit the defenders we need. No idea how quick Caleta Car is though. Edit : based on FM22 stats it doesn’t seem to be a defining part of his game

This is really the first deadline day where I genuinely don't have any sort of clue what's going on behind the scenes at Saints. Obviously they'll be getting the deals we know about over the line but Solak may want that marquee signing. It's really hard to know how the next 11 hours are going to pan out.

Gakpo is a winger too. But as our wingers come inside and attack it’s not a problem. Our full backs actually become wingers in possession. So IMO we’re not badly off as it is. My only concern is that Che’s role this season is as a target man and it works very well. Not sure we have anyone else who can hold the ball up as effectively. So any injury or suspension to Che would probably see a change in formation with a front 2.
