Well Watkins isn't an option any more.................

Looks like MM thinks Vassell can get fully fit and bring something to the team. Also Harris unlikely to go on loan.

Seems a strange decision having, 1. Given him a contract to the end of August and 2. Him scoring twice v Sutton.

I wonder if something has gone on behind the scenes?

I was thinking exactly the same.

They offered the short deal so they could have a longer look at him.
Only allowed to play 2 games as a trialist I think was quoted. So had to sign him to play him.

Im ok with sticking with the youngsters. Think we're well stocked numbers wise.
You can always do with more quality but if he's no better than we already have.......

If Moore has to go to balance the books and/or fund needed squad improvements send Wolves back to their counters to come up with a lot more beans and do it quickly so we can sign a good replacement.

Having watched their game with Spurs yesterday Wolves clearly need someone to help them score. Over their first 2 Prem games they have had 42 shots and no goals.

Although he didn't score v Millwall he took so much stick from their thug defenders that he took a lot of pressure off our other players and showed his overall value to the team.

If he has to go then £15m or £10m plus Giles.

£7M is a derisory amount for any prospective Premier League striker these days. Ings recently went to Villa for £25M and Ivan Toney at Brentford has a current valuation of £25M.

Not saying Kieffer is top Pemier League standard, but I can't see him going to Wolves as a mere back up - if he's there then he must feature. If any Prem club are serious about buying and actually playing him rather than bench warming, they should be prepared to lay out a lot more than reported bid.

I know it was different /pre-covid times but how much did the Jacks manage to get for that useless, brain dead streak of urine that is McTurdy?

You'd think Keifer is worth at least that despite the supposed cash shortages.

McBurnie signed for Sheffield United on a four-year deal for a fee of £17.5 million, potentially rising to £20 million.
