Personally, I don't feel the same anger others seem to be feeling. He was obviously looking to play at a higher level, and Club Brugge is certainly that and with a salary no doubt to match.

However, whether it proves to be a good move for him remains to be seen, I would have thought his experience at Wigan whereby he got very little game time might have made him wary of making this jump, but I guess only TWT.

He obviously wanted to go, so better for all parties concerned that he went.

Absolutely!! He didn't want to be here and stated so.If the money goes on a decent striker then it's mission accomplished.

You are gonna have to look very hard and be bl**dy lucky to find a decent striker these days for £1.5m. I doubt City are inclined to spend more than £500k on any player based on the last 12 months. Unless we can find one in non league or div 2 who may be able to step up, I reckon it won't happen. Hope I'm wrong of course!

Personally I’d let KLP have 10-12 games up front and see how he does. He certainly knows where the back of the net is.

Use the Da Silva money to buy Rathbone/Williams and fund a loan for Adelakun.

I really have no idea what players go for at this level but some clubs will be feeling the pinch financially so now's the time to find out. We've done some decent work lately in recruiting from Scottish Clubs so maybe there's more scouting to be done up here? Docherty was a bargain at the price(from what Rangers fans have told me) and as far as I'm aware Scott was circa £1.5 million.I think we are a goalscorer away from having a decent crack at this division so I'm hopeful that we'll recruit well in that department...UTT.

Three or four more still needed. Two in midfield and two upfront and I will be happy with that. 6 games for daft lad and Clit to prove they can’t do it (again) , a decent manager in and we will be ok this year.

That's why we are linked to all these strikers that don't score any goals. Mainly reserve team players

Personally sad to see LDS leave. Two points, had we had players in positions that he was asked to fill, we'd still be in the Championship and second, that being the case, if he was till to leave he'd have been worth an awful lot more than we got for him, if he wanted to leave at all... Good luck to him.

Regarding playing KLP has a main striker then I think he is still lightweight, yes hopefully he has the talent, he certainly turns well and dosnt fear going in with his head but I think he would be more suited to playing off a main striker but that means changing the system. For me it's a difficult one, he's still young, deffernetly looking has though he has got talent and regardless he should be around the first team but bringing in a top striker at this level could make the difference.

We should have been playing with two strikers for a long time.

Just hope he his more flexible this season Pete but I am doubtful, Most clubs have poor runs during a season and systems have to be changed. Even in individual games at times changes have to be made. His refusal to change last season cost us but we all know that. Big season for us and him let's hope he's learnt or his short managerial career could end pretty quickly. I'm obviously hoping his stupidity and stubbornness and our terrible second half showing last season have made him have a long look at himself because if he does well we do well.

People call for LK-P to play but he's wasted on the wing and he's not a lone striker but he could be very effective playing alongside another striker.
