From a fairly **** source (Football Insider) - Rochdale have turned down an opening bid from City for midfielder Ollie Rathbone.

Looks be a solid league 1 central midfielder, was previously a Man United trainee but got released, under contract until 2022 with Rochdale, so they must rate him.

On Sky Sports now so might not be complete rubbish. Rochdale fans don't think a big bid will be needed to prize him away so our opening offer must be very low.

Hull City have stolen a march on Sunderland in the hunt for Rochdale star Ollie Rathbone by tabling a bid for the midfielder, Football Insider understands.

The 23-year-old is in high demand this summer after his standout performances in League One, with Fleetwood Town and Oxford United also in the hunt for his capture.
However, a source at the KCOM Stadium has told Football Insider that the Tigers have made an offer for the former Manchester United graduate that has been turned down by the Dale.
Par for the course mate, par for the course...

Might be able to add experience in the free transfer market. Right now we are buying players that have the potential to get us out of this league we seem to be putting a team together. I think Eaves will score goals again in this league. My main problem now is Mr. Can’t and Cliff Edge. One dimensional coaching team with one plan.
Let’s hope some of us are proved wrong.

Hopefully but whatever happens we have to get out of this league at the first attempt.
I actually think we will
