Wife and I both had classic symptoms during first week of lockdown. Wife had it worse but it passed quickly and had no taste or smell for about 3 weeks. For about 2 months after, she would just randomly crash in the afternoons and would end up in bed at about 3pm right through till the morning.

I had less severe symptoms (lethargy, cough) but couldn't shake it for a month. 4 months on I still get out of breath easily and my snoring has gotten worse which means my sleep is disturbed.

The death toll, however it is interpreted is bad but the longer term effects of this disease will be with us for years. If we only had it mildly if hate to think what we'd feel like if we'd been hospitalized.
Was in Bransholme Centre t'other day. Must be a hot spot of Covid 19 because everyone looked lethargic, most were coughing and all must have suffered from a loss of smell.

How was your sense of smell? Why were you there? Is there even a branch of Waitrose in the Bransholme Centre?

Any truth in the leo to Monaco rumours?

It seems a bit far-fetched, player from a relegated EFL championship team gets a move to French Ligue 1 AS Monaco who were 9th in the division until the season ws ended early in March 2020, but stranger things have happened.

The guy who told me, was spot on with his docherty and Smallwood info before ot was on the open so may be less far fetched then we think

Maybe they saw something in Lopes da Silva that Grant McCan't didn't?

Like most of our players I suspect if they were cosched properly and in a system they understood and gave them a chance then I would imagine the majority of them would be better then they showed last season

First half of last season, I thought Leo was really something. So quick over a few yards, very confident on the ball, eye for a pass. Slight tendency to misplace a pass as well but part of the confidence of youth. Suspect he was unsettled by the approach from New York and then went backwards over the last 20 games of the season like everyone else. Genuinely think he will be a top division player, either here or maybe in France, so wouldn't be surprised at all if this came off.

I genuinely believe that a lot of our players went backwards due to the tactics emlloyed by our so called professional manager .. they were drained of confidence playing either out of position or a system that just didn't suit the players available.
