I have a relative in the celeb/showbiz world who absolutely loves LA, goes there all the time. I guess if you have friends (rich friends) there it might look a bit different. When I was there I wanted to indulge my nostalgia and drive up Laurel Canyon. Bloody nightmare! Roadworks, traffic lights, nose to tail traffic, the lot! Turned round and went in the little grocery shop at the bottom, which was quite cool I have to say!Agreed
Wouldn’t go back though (unless LA Galaxy wanted to sign me...)
I don't think he's that good GLP... he needed a Dawson or Curtis alongside him, then he might have been a player ...He could move to a decent team in the Championship. If he performed there’s no reason why he couldn’t make the PL. The MLS I’d swerve until much later in my career. It seems to be a ‘one last pay day’ type of league.
LA’s ****

I’ve driven down the coastal road there towards San Diego, but not stoppedNever been to Laguna beach ?

Apparently they tried to sign him in January but failed to get the deal done, now they're back in for him and we're "prepared to let him go".

Not sure that’s quite in LA though is it?
I liked Venice beach even though it’s bonkers
I’ve sort of driven each end of that road (Pacific Coast Highway?) but separately so not done the bit in the middleI drove from Seattle right down the coast finishing in LA where my wife sister lives, then took a trip into L.Vegas, spent 4 days there and back to LA and flew home.
Enjoyed San Fransico much more than LA.
I’m not sure now whether ‘Trumped’ is a good thing or not!I preferred SF to LA, The Oregon coastline trumped California’s though.
I wouldn't follow through with that arguement.I’m not sure now whether ‘Trumped’ is a good thing or not!
