Perhaps he'll end up at Brentford...Has anyone come in with a big bid to tempt Honeyman yet? Be a real shame to lose such a gifted footballer as him.

Honeyman isn't good enough for League 1, he doesn't seem like a footballer at all tbh with you. I could put my boots on and run around all game but that doesn't make me a footballer. No, our replacements aren't likely to be very good but neither is Honeyman so if he goes he's one player I really don't care about leaving.
I have a lot of time for this post, sir! With the Major Plan in place, a plan so esoteric that fans cannot be allowed to become aware of its content, what massive players are we about to sign - this surely will give us a hint of the inner machinations of the elite planners and their ultra secretive stratagem par excellence. Messi? Cristiano? or some undiscovered talents from the Isthmian League? or is it a cunning swoop of the local pub leagues?
Posted before, but when he played for Sunderland when they finished us off he looked a great prospect (along with Pickford who had a great game). His work rate is outstanding, but what a friggin disappointment. Or maybe mis-used by McCann?

Nobody said that about QuinnyI said the exact same thing about Meyler and he was playing in a far superior team. Others said the same about Quinn.
Honeyman has done fine, he didn’t settle initially, but he was the best of a crap bunch in the last few games and one of the few to actually try.
We need more like him.
Quinn was one of my favourite players at the time as was meyler, never had a bad word for either of them. Both workhorses but also had something about them. Quinn was very good on the ball and Dave wasn’t bad either. I’m sorry but got to agree to disagree as I think Honeyman is a load of ****, not seen any game of his to change my mind. Fair play to the lad for covering distance but give any city fan a game and they’d do the same. He’s not good enough and wasn’t for Sunderland either.I said the exact same thing about Meyler and he was playing in a far superior team. Others said the same about Quinn.

Wouldn't be the first, or the last.
This! McCann couldn’t get toast out of a toaster!
No no they didn’t about QuinnThey did.
“Works hard but no end product”
“Runs around but not PL quality”
Like I said, I was the same about Meyler and looking back, I know I was wrong because I now appreciate what he brought to the team.
Honeyman isn’t a bad footballer at all, he’s played in a bad team, I’m surprised given his performances in the last 9 games or so that he’s come in for so much flak. Start of the season he didn’t look good enough, but he’s taken on the challenge and risen to it. Can’t knock him for that, even if his best isn’t good enough to keep us up.

Agree. I do not rate him highly at all. He is also a complete bellend. Was shouting abuse at the fans at Turf Moor because he couldn't handle them voicing their displeasure (I also saw him do it after that debacle at Barnsley). I think he's paid enough to take some criticism. He's a very unpleasant character.
I'd have been more than happy had he been shipped out. Championship is definitely his level.
I'm not a fan for a reason.
He's not good enough.
Agree with this. Personally , I'd be happy to see Honeyman as captain next season. Actually thought he was more capable of passing the ball ten yards to another amber shirt than any other midfielder, when he played. Mind you it was a very low bar at times. They did.

Possibly same here ..... so long as McCann doesn't stick with the 'headless chicken role' he's given him.Agree with this. Personally , I'd be happy to see Honeyman as captain next season. Better than the Corporal Jones "don't panic" role that most of them have.headless chicken role'
