That was against West Ham a few weeks earlier.Same game as Parker crocked Bullard.
It was WHU away. A mid week game if I remember correctly and on SKY. Matty Dukes was in goal for us. We were already 3-0 down when Brown brought Bullard on as sub and I'm sure it was only because the SKY cameras were there. We had WBA at home on the Saturday, a relegation six pointer and Brown should have saved Bullard for that. That was against West Ham a few weeks earlier.

Parker really clobbered Bullard within minutes of him coming on and it was obviously intended.
Think we lost 4-0 in the end or was it 4-1 ? Remember Garcia going really close at our end. Good away following that night too for a mid week game in That London.
I think you are probably right. That was against West Ham a few weeks earlier.
2-0, 3-0, doesn't really matter, the game had gone when Brown brought Bullard on. We were well beaten that night. Didn't they hit the post about six times in the first half, and then got a soft penalty ? I was half way up so the view for me wasn't too bad.It was 2-0 and I was on the back row, so could barely see any of that game, it was like watching through a letterbox.
It was a poor pass but that's no excuse for the way Parker came steaming in and kicking Bullard three foot up in the air. If you read the history between the two, they played in the same junior teams and there was some bad blood between them and it was Parker who crocked Bullard when he was at Wigan. Brown would have known that which is why I questioned the need to risk Bullard when we were already down and out in that game.Funny what time does, Bullard was crocked after a hospital pass from Ashbee. Literally.
That's pretty much as I remember it from viewpoint behind the goal. I have a feeling that Parker was again involved in injuring Bullard after his comeback. It was a poor pass but that's no excuse for the way Parker came steaming in and kicking Bullard three foot up in the air. Jackson Irvine is training with League Two side Oldham Athletic.
Probably wishing he went for talks with FC Massive now.
Cuckoo 'Boro may be a better choice?Harry Kewell the gaffer there, probably why.
