He'll be a cheap option in terms of fee and wages.
It's a body in the building I suppose.
FFS a cheaper option would have been not to have bought him at all.
Had a similar discussion with a thick fc fan today who claimed that Hull City have never spent any money, ever, he also believes that Pearson funds fc because 'he loves rugby league' and City should have got more for Maguire despite not knowing who we signed him from and for how much. He also knows 'for a fact' that City got £9m yesterday from the Maguire deal and it went straight into the Allams back pocket.
I asked him how much fc have spent on players recently.
Still waiting for an answer.
But Hull City are **** and always will be according to him.

Bless him..... Held!

All things considered it's about as good as we could have hoped for tbh given the current climate and owners
Their cunning plan... disappoint for a few transfers, do okay under the circumstances and it seems like a win. Anyway I'm disappointed, as I thought it was the usual 9/10/11 finish time, arranged to go to the sports bar for tea and "meh" much later than this ...

Don’t want to burst the positivity bubble, but the 10 signed will probably on the same wages as what Campbell and Henriksen where on combined.

He was the player who refused to play v Wycombe, because he hadnt been paid for 5 months
You can't honestly blame him, i wouldn't have gone 5 months without pay and still done my job.

Scores a lot of headers so hope we are going to be getting plenty of crosses into the box.

If they wear the black and amber they get my support.

that's correct that's why they were all brought in from mainly lower teams, we know the managers hands are tied and because many lack experience at this level they are mainly gambles but one things for sure we are certainly no worse off than this morning. Some will be a success some not but the manager will have got what he thinks is the best he can for the budget offered. Pleased we kept the wingers for the time being but for me it's how well our new forward does replacing Campbell.
