We demanded it in 1 go due to the way Man U was acting

It is normal practise to break payments up especially big money moves

Rob Tanner worked for the Leicester mercury for the last 10 years and very reliable

I was pulling your leg. Of course deals can be done in a 100% lump sum. It’s probably more common place than we think. Especially when the selling club holds all the cards and the buying club is desperate to sign a specific player.

On Elder. There was talk last season he was going to be back up to Ben Chilwell this year as Christian Fuchs’ contract was up. Elder went on loan to Ipswich and it didnt get aswell as hoped. Brendan Rodgers then convinced Fuchs to sign a new deal despite him saying for years he was leaving at the end of his contract

So within them few months the clubs stance on Elder changed. But now he has a proper home where he will get chances he will hopefully kick on for you

Good to get some of our Maguire money back. Btw we made Man U pay the whole amount up front so you will get your £9.5M in 1 go aswell
A Leicester pal of mine told me he’s not seen him play but says he’s well thought of there

He must have been to a degree to keep getting contracts. I think we seen something in him but he has never kicked on as we hoped. While he didnt get a proper chance he hardly merited one by his loan spells away and was never going to get him ahead of Chilwell

This seems a very Nigel Pearson like transfer window. As in a whole bunch of cheap signings nobody other than Sterling has ever heard of. They went on to make a great team and a lot of them became very valuable. It was always exciting and enjoyable watching them grow.

I like Ehabs new vision for the club. We are in good hands.

Stop been docile ****.

Just saying. Not a bite.

Tbf the amount of players we have signed over the years have in the main been slagged by their previous teams supporters .. some for good reason.. but look at how the Swansea fans reacted about Kingsley when he was due to come here and look how that's turned out !

Was chatting with Swansea fans post match -all surprised at how much we don’t rate Kingsley and moaning how crap Clucas was.

Well considering we thought Grosiki & Bowen to go and nobody to come in, not a bad day.

hope they can get their heads in the right place again for this season. grosicki sounded happy enough to stay and had his best season for us. hoping bowen can put aside any disappointment and understand his chance of prem football will come.

Got to admit that I'm very uninspired with those compared to some signings made by rivals. I know we are not in the best financial position but it seems like were preparing for league 1

completely disagree. we still have last season's main attacking options, campbell aside, and everywhere else will be stronger. plus we can start this season better than we started last season

I know very little about any of the signings, I guess it remains to be seen if McCann can mould them into an effective unit. The positives are that we kept Bowen and Turbo, for the time being, we just have to hope that we don't start like last season and lose most games, as if we only have them until January then they will have been wasted.

That's just it, we're probably stronger financially than we've been for years....
