Not sure but dont think Zidane is overly keen on him .. saw an interview with one of the presidents of RM where he spoke of having discussions prior to Zidane coming back where he already wanted rid of him .. must be something there especially when he come straight out and encourages Bale to leave as soon as. Also sounds like he hasn't integrated well into the squad from reports that he didnt want to attend a club function cos it was past his bedtime .. perhaps Zidane sees him as a bad apple for squad moral .. who knows.

It's going to be difficult to create a reasonable working relationship between Bale & Zidane after all this. Could possibly impact club morale to the detriment of performance/success this season, unless of course Bale is viewed by all players as a disruptive influence. Some of the quotes from players suggests the latter.

The Zidane/Bale thing has seemed toxic for a while, similarly the Bale/teammates relationship. I don't see who might have wanted to call off the move to China unless the Chinese aren't offering enough to pay his contract up?

It seems as though RM want a transfer fee for him as he still has three years contact left.

Apparently the rest of the squad call him "El Golfista" and he sacked off a squad meal because it finished passed his bedtime. I doubt the rest of the squad will miss him.

I'm well aware of what's been happening over the last little while. The point of my comment was that the "Great news, he's going to China" being reversed to "He's staying" can only cause more turmoil & disharmony in the camp. It doesn't bode well for the club, manager or the player himself if you ask me.
A right mess.
 
What’s happened to the new owners thread. Has it been removed or can I just not see it. Or, are they that well liked now we don’t have one. I can’t see that either.
 
Harry Maguire did not take part in training with Leicester City on Monday, after phoning in sick.

Sky Sports News understands Maguire has told Leicester he wants to leave before the transfer window shuts on August 8 and he remains Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's number one target at Old Trafford.

Zidane hasn't lost the dressing room. He's lost the boardroom. A couple of early defeats and he's toast.
