Free agent Ryan Tafazolli is continuing to train with Hull City as he attempts to earn himself a contract at the KCOM Stadium.
Tafazolli has been with Grant McCann’s squad for the last 10 days, initially joining the Tigers for their warm-weather training camp in Marbella.
McCann declined to discuss Tafazolli’s future last week but it is understood he remains part of a City squad preparing for Saturday’s friendly away to Mansfield Town.
Tafazolli is keen on joining the Tigers as he pursues ambitions to play in the Championship.
The central defender left Peterborough United at the end of last season in the hope of stepping up out of League One and is well known to McCann following their time spent together at London Road.
McCann does not need convincing of Tafazolli’s ability having first brought him to Peterborough three years ago, but the terms of any potential deal are yet to have been agreed between club and player.

He’s pretty much correct most of the time.
Is he half Welsh and half Italian ? Whatever he has to be worth a shot. He is a good age and has looked half handy in the reports. Terry must like him so what’s the stumbling block, surely not wages.

They finished 13th in last season’s Championship and Bowler is promising to do his utmost to help engineer an upturn in fortunes at the KCOM Stadium.
“You are playing for a fanbase which cares passionately about the club and you have to do the same; to invest the same passion and show the same heart as the fans,” added Bowler.
“Our success with the Under-23s has given me the hunger to want to achieve more at Hull. I will try my best in every game, do everything I can for Hull, and I hope that shows to the supporters.
“Wherever I am, I will play my heart out and try to impress as many people as possible.”

No idea whether this means we are sure Bowen is going or just good practice to have competition/replacement if he does go. Either way, always good to bring in a promising young player and can't imagine we were the only ones interested, so again , some positive news! Good luck, Josh.
