Fair point, but I'm guessing there has been atleast conversations with his agent/advisor's? Maybe FC has made it crystal clear he wouldn't re sign or his agents has said he will take xyz and the club are saying we will only pay 123 and they are just to far apart to even put an offer on the table?

I'm surprised the Allams haven't even offered something as then they could atleast try and spin it and say well we offered and he didn't want to sign
The fact they haven’t spun it like that is cast iron proof that they made no offer at all. IMHO

The Sun article...

ARSENAL are preparing a £12million swoop for Hull striker Jarrod Bowen.

The 22-year-old has been watched by the Gunners since January.

And the North Londoners have been impressed by his performances that saw him net 22 times for the Tigers last season.

Their rivals Tottenham also kept tabs on Bowen but Arsenal are set to make an official bid.

The Gunners have been trying to lure 26-year-old Wilfried Zaha to the Emirates from Crystal Palace but are baulking at the £80million price-tag.

Bowen, four years younger, is seen as a good value option.

Hull value their prized asset at £15m but will be tempted to let him go for £3m less if the Gunners come knocking.

In this mornings papers its full of McCann talking about wanting to keep Bowen & Grosicki... Its obviously a big if but IF we do, add a few quality loans in, possibly striker & attacking/creative mid and we start to look pretty good.

It would be nice one summer to look forward to the upcoming season instead of expecting the same old ****..

It's possible that's why it's been so quiet on the Bowen front - his agent might have made it clear hes staying.

It's the hope that kills you

Bowen is being chased by 2 teams with no money to spend & are trying to get the best deal for themselves, Arsenal & Spurs. Southampton Always try & get players cheaper & flog then on for a huge profit. Same with Leicester.
Only real team with money that has been linked with him is Everton. I also doubt that Utd will be after him now after buying James.

Valued at £15m? The club can get to ****. Who puts valuations on our players? Look at his goal ratio - £20m no offers.

I don’t get it. Why would we let him go for £3m less just because it’s Arsenal? Surely as a recognised ‘big club’ we’d be demanding more? Also, he isn’t worth £12m-£15m, he’s worth at least £20m. I suspect they’ll try and low ball us given our owners propensity for **** valuations.

They're not going to start with a bid that they think we'll accept, they'll have a punt first, they just offered £40m for Zaha and they know he's not going to be sold for less than £70m.
