In a lot of ways Micheal Turner was a better player than Maguire for us. Defending wise anyway.
Concerning Ingram, a Dramas-supporting pal says they have a younger player, on less money. All down to FFP as they owe the FA £22 million.

Hull City are one of a number of clubs to have shown an interest in highly-rated Scottish striker Lawrence Shankland, according to The Scottish Sun.
The 23-year-old scored 34 goals for Scottish Championship side Ayr United last season and is now a free agent after his contract expired this month.
With Fraizer Campbell’s contract set to expire at the end of this week, Nouha Dicko is the only recognised senior forward in Grant McCann’s squad.
However, the Tigers face strong competition with Dundee United thought to have put a contract offer forward after failing to sign the striker last summer.
The Terrors missed the opportunity to gain promotion back to the Scottish Premier League after a play-off defeat to St. Mirren. This could prove costly if Shankland wants to test himself at a higher level with Celtic and Rangers also tracking the talented youngster.

League One side Sunderland have also been heavily linked with signing the forward. Current Black Cats manager Jack Ross twice had Shankland on-loan when he was in-charge at St Mirren and is thought to be keen on a third reunion.
The Tigers are no strangers when it comes to tracking players in Scotland. Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna was a well-known target of Nigel Adkins with City having three bids rejected in the January transfer window of 2018.
City’s Head of Recruitment Lee Darnbrough also has strong connections to Scotland, regularly taking in games north of the border.
Earlier this month, the Daily Record reported that Darnbrough was a big fan of Kilmarnock left-back Greg Taylor, who is a target of both Celtic and Rangers.
Darnbrough is said to have watched the defender, who made his Scotland debut in a 3-0 defeat to Belgium two weeks ago, on several occasions last season but City’s valuation of £400,000 may not meet his club’s asking price.

Seen the young lad at Ayr a few times last season and would give him a go..he had a great attitude every time I saw him
I'm not gonna judge Ingram until I've actually seen him play in our team. Also, he's only the third GK in the club - not sure why all this 'team full of keepers' stuff is banding about, most teams have at least three goalies. I would like to hope that Long is first choice, and that Ingram is here as cover, but we won't know for a while.

If we'd taken the "ludicrous" offer from Liverpool, I firmly believe that Turner would've had a much more successful career. Surrounded by better players and coaches he'd have done well. At a time when Upson was getting an England call up, Turner would've got selected I'm sure.
