Moses Odubajo has been released by Brentford, they had an option to offer him a second year after his initial 1 year dela lapsed, but they have declined to extend it. He played 34 games for them this season, so has kept himself fit. Someone will pick him up on a Bosman.

I think Brentford will have a pop at promotion next year...

Actually vindicates the Allams' decision in many ways - not to offer a longer term, expensive contract to him.

I reckon he might end up back at Orient.

Pretty much every year, for the past few years, someone on here has said that. Usually the same types who'll be adamant we'll finish 25th (again).

Brentford will sell some of their better players again and finish circa 10th. Same as.

Sky sports with some interesting names, Nugent & Johnson at Derby, plus a couple of others. If only we were looking now at signing these players, I’d have half a hope of us staying up.
But with the way we do things, we’ll make our first signing in August, when all the real decent players have gone elsewhere!
Is Nugent still a decent striker?

Interesting list.
Nick Blackman was on fire for reading before he moved to derby and his form fell off a cliff.

Tommy Elphick will do. And I'd take that Frasier Cambell from Hal

I see Bristol have released Semenyo. Very weird as he was linked with Man Utd.

Semenyo, Vela, Elphick and Routledge please.

Knowing our clueless owners and recruiting system we'll probably try to sign that "Bosman" everyone is talking about ...

If there’s any truth in the rumour that our maximum weekly wage is going to be £5k a week next season you can forget about any players currently plying their trade in the Championship, it’ll be punts only from League One and League Two clubs. Sad but very probably true.

Just **** off Allam’s, seriously, you’re despised by the vast majority of the Hull City fan base.

  • Will Mannion
  • Callum Burton
  • Adam Curry
In addition to the out of contract players on page one, the above 3 are also out of contract, It will be interesting to see who stays?

Mannion's already been given a new deal, Curry's being released, no news on Burton yet.

I'll update the first post with both the first team and youth teams, as soon as the final retained list is confirmed.

I deffo would.

From when I've seen him, he's been playing well for Brentford, He'd improve us. Who wouldn't want a fit, free Moses in their back line, oh wait..... mind you he no doubt wouldn't touch us with a barge pole whilst the gruesome twosome are still here.

A bit surprised about Curry, but all of a sudden a few months ago he seemed to fall out of favour.

Likewise, I thought he looked every bit a first team player in the game at Donny.

Maybe they'll reconsider now that we've set the wage limit so low for next season, I think he'll go on to be a decent player.

OK, but do you think City should sign him?
