Yeah that's actually true. He enjoys playing the bad guy and the media will always allow him to be so but not many mention about how he's a Rays Of Sunshine ambassador and frequently visits sick children in hospitals (outside of his Spurs Foundation commitments).

He could have just ignored the criticism, but he comes across as being quite soft skinned.
Wenger appeared to play into it by allowing him various days off for no apparent reason and failing to deal with his weaknesses.
Mourinho wouldn't have that **** at Real and it made Ozil a far more effective player.

There probably has been some racism towards him.
I suspect it's something that a lot of players receive, especially high profile ones in national sides. Raheem Sterling, for example.
Do I think that he's suffered anything out of the ordinary or this was the actual reason behind his behaviour? No.

yeah but its the same for all the bad men in football.

Suarez, John Terry (on the occasional good he does), Drogba (when he was flouncing about all over the floor) and i think even Bellamy has his charity stuff.

I hate everyone outside of Spurs, that's how football should be as it builds passion. Any opportunity to mug a side off I'll take it and Real provided us with that a couple months back.

But you'll never catch me parading an Arsenal/ Chelsea/ West Ham player with photos. That ****'s just a no-go.

Ozil currently has **** all to be arrogant about. He played utter ****e at the WC, to the point he was booed by his own fans.

Then he has the deluded self arrogance to refuse to play for his country anymore, blaming everybody and everything for his own dismal failure,

so what you're saying is because Sterling takes the racism, Ozil should to as it's "normal".

Not sure i agree with that sentiment, especially if the racism is from his own superiors whereas black players in general is from the opposition (that you expect to get stick from)

Sure he seems weak minded and i agree with that as he hides on the field and he should probably ignore it but he was particularly scathing of one german in particular so theres got to be something behind that imo.

Lol, i'm a bit different, i just thought it'd be funny putting that pic to see who kicks off. I put on some Ronaldo pics for Sky a while back. It's not like it's my profile pic or anything.

So basically you restrict your photo usage to NOT be arsenal/chelsea and west ham? Every other team is fine?

How do you know the reasons for his retirement from international football? If I was being racially abused, I wouldn't play for them either. None of us know what's been going on. I'm glad he's not playing for Germany as I think he's a good player. He was **** at the WC but show me a German player who wasn't. Not many.

I think he was booed more cause of the Erdogan think rather than cause he played utter ****e (like half of that german side).

He has more right to be arrogant than Alli, he's won a lot more and at his peak, he was far better than Alli has been.

He merely showed that Ozil has won WC. Nothing wrong with that.

I just don't big up players from rivals. Acknowledging a good player is fair game, IE Henry was good, Lampard was good but you'll never catch me parading them up with photos to try and win debates, I'd rather just take the L if that was the only other option <laugh>.

I think he’s pony and a complete tart. Arsenal are lumbered with him on four times as much dough as anyone else would pay so will have no choice but to build around and indulge him again. No top side can afford luxuries with his level or work rate let alone a guy who no longer contributes much going forwards either.

That's your opinion. Doesn't hide the fact that has loads of caps for Germany and is a WC winner. Not usually achieved by players who are pony tbf.
