Could be a good shout. Harlee Dean is somebody who has been linked with us before, only 25 and 6"3, English and has close to 300 appearances. I'd bid for him.

EDIT: I didn't realise Jota had gone back to Brentford either, he'd be a great signing too.

I would be happy with Dean and Roberts, Robbo's fee would more then cover their cost. Two good players who Dawson and Curtis would bring on well.

One of the reasons i like dean smith got an eye for a player, il have a nosey

were we linked to a striker from reading not long ago?
Could still be a target

Was it not Hal Robson Kanu? He's at WBA now. Looking down the list of released players at Reading, former City youth Harry Cardwell has been released along with Aaron Kuhl, an England U20's international. The latter was tipped for great things, wonder what the problem was (aside from his daft haircut. Not sure his dad would have approved).

Assombalonga would be my #1 target. If there was ever a signing that was to get us out of this league it would be him. No question. But he's also the kind of player we will happily let go to Boro or Sunderland while we settle for some ****cunt who has 4 in 67 but is a 'hard worker'.

Danny Graham may be available now Blackburn have gone down.

Heres hoping substantial cash from sales is reinvested, also always liked assembalonga , you never know we could well use the hernandez cash and make a bid

just read the first payment could be £47m, couple with potential sales we could get £30m on too as well as 3.8m prize money from last season, obviously players wages for next season will eat a chunk but we could have alot left for strong signings iffffff the allams are serious about promotion

Parachute first installment plus player sales and prize money should net us £80m
Wonder what our wage bill is minus all the loan lads and after relegation clauses

Dunno how accurate this is but apparntly our squads wag

Come off it...

Ha, that last line is a classic City striker

That's cheap if they get Iheanacho for that amount. I think he looks a great player whenever I've seen him.

West Ham are taking the piss with bids, I have a few mates who are Spammers fans & they have all said that they have no intention of signing Iheanacho or Barkley, they're just making it look like it to keep the fans quiet, despite the fans knowing this anyway.
Remember last year they bid £30 million for someone & the selling team wanted £32 million & West Ham said no, they pulled out of the deal when it looked like the selling team was about to agree to what WH had offered.
This is why WH are bidding seemingly low.

Been posted on another City Forum... Barrie McKay at Rangers 22.... been told he can leave
